FOODAGE II

Hello, welcome back to the discovery of the secret of fufu lifespan compared to other solid food from the previous post on FOODAGE I. Well have you been panting to find out the WHY!!! Boom the secret is here. Just find out the uniqueness of fufu in which the English call it "FUFUO" or "FOOFOO" or "FOUFOU" as it may imply, the igbo's call it "AKPU" and the likes. Yes, FUFU has been proven to be a solid food with high capacity to be stored in a fridge and a tendency to stay fresh for two to three days or even a week at a room temperature; also when pounded and converted into wraps without air moisture interference it stays preserved. When you keep yam flour "AMALA" in a fridge it likely to turn to water when brought out, what about pounded yam hmmm our "IYAN" can you put it in a fridge? I guess it will just turn back to yam😆😆😆 my imagination never seems to end maybe you can find out yourself. According to many research made by the traditional west African ingredients and dishes      " FUFU" has an immense health benefits as it contains low cholesterol, rich in fiber, pottasium, vitamin C, resistant starch and many more.

Health benefits of eating fufu when made in a good condition helps to improve the digestive system, reducing blood pressure and inflammation, control sugar level, feeds the bacteria in your gut etc. Not withstanding as good as it may look as the saying goes   " too much of everything is bad" and it is advisable not to eat "FUFU" at late night from my experience. The preparation of it can be diversified as most people especially the igbo's pound with mortar and pestle, the yoruba's prepare it by just  cooking it and turning it just like our semovita, while the English just say we want it as soon as possible by producing a machine that can prepare our "FUFU" is it not amazing. Now the cat is out of the bag now carry go your fufu with okro soup made fresh be like motor wey dem put for high speed for your throat. I love my "FUFU". Still on the matter for food sit down make we yarn the gbedu oghono  carry fufu run away egusi begin dey vex na who go settle this matter. I remain my humble self @ a.k.a Misz T
